Transportation Changes for Durham District School Board Secondary School Students
Effective September, 2013, school bus transportation will be provided to secondary students meeting Durham Student Transportation Services (DSTS) criteria.
Student bus passes for Durham Region Transit are no longer available for purchase at DDSB schools. Please contact Durham Region Transit or visit www.durhamregiontransit.com for information regarding cost and purchase locations.

A group of Pine Ridge Secondary School students is crafting a way to help people living in poverty.
Mrs. Hopper’s Life Skills class and Mrs. Anderson's Practical Learning Program class are in the midst of turning empty clean cans, otherwise destined for the recycling bin, into “Anything Cans,” to be used as containers to hold anything from pens to cotton balls. The cans are being sold, raising money for children living in poverty.

Grade 8 to Grade 9 Transition Information
"Getting Ready for High School"
WHO: Incoming Grade 9s
WHAT: Teachers will review math, English/language arts, homework skills, and more, as well as give a tour of the school. The incoming grade 9s will have prior experience within their new high school and meet other students new to the school.
WHERE: Pine Ridge Secondary School
WHEN: Mon Aug 19 - Thurs Aug 22 from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm each day
